Job summary

Bennington College is seeking a Leadership Gift Officer to join its Institutional Advancement team. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for assigned constituents.
• Personally solicit leadership annual gifts, focusing on $10,000–$100,000 and multi-year commitments when appropriate.
• Conduct 8–12 meaningful donor/prospect visits per month, in person or virtually.
• Build a consistent pipeline of prospective donors through qualification, discovery, engagement, and solicitation.
• Maintain accurate donor interaction records in the College’s constituent database.
