Job summary
Standard Bots is seeking a Welding Sales Manager to own the national welding number and drive growth for MIG welding systems across direct and partner channels. You will lead the welding pipeline, forecast regionally, and collaborate with the Welding Applications Engineers on customer sites, demos, and weld trials.
The ideal candidate has hands-on welding experience, 5+ years in welding sales or applications, and a proven track record closing capital equipment deals.
Qualifications
- Hands-on welding experience; MIG welding required, TIG or laser a plus.
- 5+ years in welding sales or welding applications, ideally robotic/automated welding.
- Track record of closing capital equipment deals with manufacturers and fabricators.
- Comfort leading through influence across regional sales teams.
- Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites, trade shows, and partner meetings.
Responsibilities
- Own the welding number and national quota for welding systems and revenue.
- Co-sell welding opportunities with Regional Sales Managers across territories.
- Lead proposals, pricing, and negotiation on welding deals including direct MIG welding systems.
- Build and manage the partner channel with distributors for welding sales.
- Represent customer voice to the welding product team and participate in industry events.
