Job summary

First&Third is a fully remote web design and development agency and a WordPress VIP and Shopify Plus partner. We are looking for a Website QA Tester to join us on a remote, part-time contract basis.

You will test client websites across desktop and mobile to make sure they look right, work as expected, and support the journeys users need to complete. You will find and document bugs, help developers reproduce them, and retest fixes before changes reach users.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on website testing experience.
• Strong manual testing across functional, visual, responsive, and regression testing with cross-browser/device coverage.
• Practical familiarity with WordPress and Shopify sites and e-commerce journeys.
• Ability to write clear, reproducible bug reports and prioritize by impact/severity.
• Experience using browser dev tools and cross-browser testing tools such as BrowserStack.

Responsibilities

• Create and run practical test cases based on project specs and designs.
• Perform functional, visual, responsive, smoke, regression, and exploratory testing across browsers/devices.
• Test navigation, links, forms, and content updates; verify Shopify checkout flows and WordPress changes.
• Conduct accessibility checks with axe or WAVE and report issues.
• Validate GA4 events, GTM, and marketing pixels where applicable.
• Use Lighthouse to flag performance regressions and analyze Core Web Vitals data.
