Job summary

Vitalant is seeking a Web Application Developer to design, build, and support scalable web and mobile applications using the .NET stack. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions for donors and communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems and Object-Oriented programming.
• Understanding of full software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Three years of work experience required.
• Experience with Azure DevOps preferred.
• Experience with Kentico CMS and MVC framework preferred.
• Proven experience with ASP.NET, C#, MVC and Entity Framework.
• Experience with API-based software development and RESTful services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web and mobile applications using modern technologies and platforms.
• Build and support applications using Microsoft technologies, including .NET, Visual Studio, Xamarin, Azure DevOps, Office 365, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Explore emerging technologies to create engaging experiences for Vitalant’s donors and customers.
• Collaborate with IT teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Understand requirements and ensure solutions meet project goals.
• Perform cross-browser and desktop/mobile testing and unit testing.
• Develop and maintain documentation following standards and best practices.
• Participate actively in an Agile development team.
• Communicate effectively with technical teams, partners, and end users.
