Job summary

OrthoLoneStar is seeking a Medical Billing Workers' Compensation AR Specialist for a fully remote role across the United States. You will manage accounts receivable, billing, claim corrections, and follow‑up to maximize reimbursement while maintaining patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities include WC AR cleanup, denial reviews, appeals with carriers, eligibility verification, and data entry. Prior WC billing experience is preferred; Athena EMR knowledge is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Workers' Compensation Billing and AR collections experience.
• 1 year of Medical Appeals and Denials experience.
• Minimum 1 year knowledge of insurance verification and eligibility.
• Spine/Orthopedic billing knowledge is a plus.
