Job summary

McKim & Creed seeks an experienced CAD Designer for our Water/Wastewater team. This remote or hybrid role supports a multi-discipline project group, delivering design and construction drawings for water and sewer projects.

A minimum of 5 years in CAD drafting is required, with AutoCAD Civil 3D expertise strongly preferred. A civil technology credential is expected; MS Word/Excel/Outlook skills are essential, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in CAD drafting.
• Experience with water and sewer projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Vocational certificate or two-year degree in civil technology.
• Good technical skills; proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical and design services in support of water/wastewater design projects as part of a multi-discipline project team to produce design/construction drawings.
• Responsible for completing design tasks within budget and on schedule.
• Communicates with Project Managers, Sr. Engineers and design team to complete work efficiently.
• This position is responsible for the design and layout of engineering drawings.
• Produce drawings or sketches as required.
