Job summary

Veolia is hiring a Field Service Engineer to manage commissioning, installation, and optimization of water treatment plants. You will liaise with design engineering, construction, control systems, and customers to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 5+ years in service/maintenance in an industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of water treatment systems and technologies (RO, ion exchange, thermal)
• Ability to perform startup, commissioning, and optimization
• Excellent problem-solving and customer-facing communication skills
• Willingness to travel extensively (70-80% annually) across North America and internationally

Responsibilities

• Support model reviews, design meetings, and safety reviews for plant accessibility and operability
• Conduct control system factory acceptance tests with clients
• Develop commissioning schedules and performance plans for water treatment plants
• Provide on-site technical instruction for installation, operation, calibration, and maintenance
• Prepare technical reports and customer communications
