Job summary

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection seeks an Administrative Analyst trainee in the Bureau of Construction, Payment & Administration for Water Resource Management, located in Trenton.

Under supervision, you will receive on-the-job training in analytic practices, review and prepare reports, and assist with NJ Water Bank loan exhibits, data collection for the Clean Watershed Needs Survey, and grant applications.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of professional experience relevant to the position or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Professional experience refers to analytical, evaluative, and interpretive work with the ability to make informed decisions.
• U.S. degrees and transcripts must be from an accredited institution; foreign credentials require evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve NJ Water Bank loan requisitions per applicable regulations.
• Prepare NJ Water Bank loan exhibits and collect documentation for surveys and reports.
• Assist with the Clean Watersheds Needs Survey data, SRF capitalization grant application, and annual Use Plan.
• Serve as project/grant manager for DAC TA planning and design grants.
• Perform related work under supervision in a state department setting.
