NJ Department of Environmental Protection is seeking a trainee analyst within the Water Resource Management division, located in Trenton, NJ. This role provides on-the-job training in analytic practices and report preparation, while exposing you to the preparation of loan exhibits and federal grant applications.

You will work under supervision in the Construction, Payment & Administration section and may advance as you gain professional experience; a bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of professional experience relevant to the position.
• OR: Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Professional experience refers to analytical, evaluative, and interpretive work.

Responsibilities

• On-the-job training in analytic practices/procedures and in application and research.
• Preparation of reports and review of documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Learn to manage projects and grant-related tasks within the BCPA and Water Bank programs.
