Job summary

JD Ross Energy is seeking a Wastewater Engineer to join our expanding water infrastructure team. The role focuses on planning, design, permitting, and execution of municipal and industrial wastewater projects, including treatment upgrades and biogas facilities.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of wastewater experience, strong design capabilities, regulatory compliance knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients across projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
3+ years of experience in wastewater engineering, treatment plant design, or water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes including activated sludge, BNR, secondary clarification, solids handling, and pumping systems.
Experience preparing engineering reports, plans, specifications, and design calculations.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, and evaluate wastewater treatment infrastructure for municipal, government, and industrial clients.
Develop engineering calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, and design specifications.
Support wastewater treatment plant upgrades, expansions, and rehabilitation projects.
Design and optimize biological treatment systems, pumping stations, and solids handling processes.
Engage with clients, regulators, and project stakeholders throughout project delivery.
Contribute to proposals, technical presentations, and business development efforts.
