Confidential Employer seeks lawyers for a fully remote warranty and commercial litigation practice. Must be licensed in California with 1+ year of litigation experience. Responsibilities include researching, drafting, managing discovery, and leading aspects of strategy and deadlines across matters.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience managing discovery, motions, depositions, and litigation deadlines appropriate to seniority level.

Responsibilities

• Handle warranty and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution, trial, and appeal.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written work product.
• Draft case evaluations, pleadings, briefs, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Propound and respond to written discovery and manage document-intensive matters.
• Prepare for, take, and defend depositions; argue substantive motions in California state and federal courts.
• Work directly with clients, witnesses, experts, opposing counsel, and internal case teams.
• Manage case strategy, deadlines, and client reporting.
• Prepare matters for hearings, mediation, arbitration, and trial.
• Senior attorneys will help supervise associates and mentor junior attorneys.
