Job summary

Confidential Employer is seeking attorneys to join a sophisticated warranty litigation practice. The role welcomes associates with 1+ year of litigation experience and also senior attorneys capable of independently leading matters.

California Bar in good standing is required, with opportunities to handle significant matters and gain courtroom exposure. You will work on complex warranty and commercial litigation for sophisticated clients, with leadership mentoring and the chance to take ownership

Qualifications

• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• 1+ year of litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience managing discovery, motions, depositions, and litigation deadlines appropriate to seniority level.
• Ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, courts, and opposing counsel.

Responsibilities

• Handle warranty and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution, trial, and appeal.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written work product.
• Draft case evaluations, pleadings, briefs, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Propound and respond to written discovery and manage document-intensive matters.
• Prepare for, take, and defend depositions, and argue substantive motions in state and federal courts.
• Work directly with clients, witnesses, experts, opposing counsel, and internal case teams.
