Job summary

Education Perfect is seeking an experienced Western Australian Science teacher to conduct a curriculum alignment audit for Years 7–10 Science content. This contract-based role involves reviewing draft alignments, updating lessons and assessments, and ensuring alignment with curriculum requirements.

The project runs from early November to early December 2026, with about 50 hours across four weeks and a remote, flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Western Australian Years 7–10 Science curriculum.
• Experience reviewing curriculum alignment and mapping educational content to descriptors.
• Ability to evaluate lesson sequences and improve learning progression.
• Experience reviewing and editing educational content and assessments to address gaps.
• Proactive with practical recommendations to improve content quality.
• Comfortable working remotely and independently.

Responsibilities

• Review the draft curriculum alignment to ensure coverage of descriptors.
• Check lesson sequences follow logical progression across topics.
• Update existing lessons and assessments to address gaps and improve alignment.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to meet curriculum expectations.
• Complete work remotely using Google Docs and Google Sheets.
