Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Vulnerability Security Engineer to identify, prioritize, and drive remediation of security weaknesses across our enterprise. You will leverage automation and AI-driven solutions to reduce risk and improve operational efficiency.

You will partner with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to scale remediation, develop metrics, and report risk reduction to leadership. Remote/teleworker role with Michigan base salary details provided.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience in vulnerability management or a related security discipline.
• Experience with multiple vulnerability management platforms and automation.
• Knowledge of CVSS, EPSS, and risk-based prioritization approaches.
• Experience supporting Windows, Linux, cloud, and network technologies.
• Collaboration with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to remediate risk.
• Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the enterprise vulnerability management program and remediation tracking.
• Perform vulnerability scanning across servers, endpoints, cloud, and networks.
• Analyze scan results, reduce false positives, and improve remediation efficiency.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and engineering teams to drive timely remediation.
• Assess vulnerabilities using CVSS, threat intel, and business risk to prioritize actions.
• Develop metrics, dashboards, and leadership reports on vulnerability trends and risk.
• Maintain and optimize vulnerability management tools and automation solutions.
• Integrate findings into ticketing/workflow platforms like Jira or ServiceNow.
