Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC seeks a Vice President of Tax to steer tax strategy and governance, reporting to the CFO and interacting with the board. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Taxation; MST/JD/LLM preferred.
• CPA preferred with deep expertise in corporate taxation.
• 10+ years of progressive tax leadership experience.
• Experience with ASC 740, multi-entity structures, M&A tax matters, and tax-exempt organizations.
• Backgrounds in trust/fiduciary/fund taxation or asset management taxation.
• Executive presence and ability to communicate complex tax matters to senior leadership, audit committees, and boards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization’s overall tax strategy, planning initiatives, and compliance framework.
• Lead ASC 740 tax provision activities, income tax reporting, and financial statement disclosures.
• Oversee tax aspects of acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and entity optimization initiatives.
• Serve as the primary liaison with tax authorities, auditors, and external advisors during audits and controversy matters.
• Build, mentor, and develop the tax team while enhancing systems, controls, and operational efficiencies.
