Job summary

Emergence Automotive seeks a VP of Strategic Finance to lead the portfolio's financial planning, performance analysis, and capital allocation. You will work closely with portfolio CEOs to translate data into action and to improve decision-making across the business.

You will own the finance cadence across the portfolio, including forecasting, KPI reporting, and board-level materials, and you will lead M&A modelling, integration planning, and value creation after close.

Qualifications

• Strong financial modeling ability.
• Experience in SaaS/software finance or corporate development desirable.
• Background in operating finance, FP&A, or accounting with commercial focus.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic finance cadence across the automotive portfolio, including forecasting, performance management, KPI reporting, operating reviews, and CEO-level decision support.
• Build operating models beyond budgets, including scenario planning, retention/cohort economics, cash/working capital, unit economics, return frameworks, and capital allocation.
• Partner with portfolio leadership to turn analysis into operating recommendations and strategic actions.
• Lead and support M&A work across the vertical: acquisition modeling, diligence, synergy analysis, integration planning, financing considerations, and value-creation post-close.
• Develop board- and investor-ready materials and raise the finance standards across the portfolio.
