BGBx in New York City is seeking a Vice President, Project Management Operations to lead the PM function across portfolios, ensuring operational excellence and on-time, profitable delivery of complex multi-channel campaigns in pharma advertising.

You will mentor senior PMs and directors, shape scalable processes, oversee budgets and timelines, and collaborate with Account, Strategy, Creative, Medical, and Ops to align projects with client goals.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in project management within pharmaceutical advertising or healthcare communications.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams on complex, multi-channel campaigns.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of the PM function across key client portfolios, ensuring operational rigor and delivery excellence.
• Lead a team of project managers and project directors, offering guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
• Partner with senior agency leadership to align PM strategies with broader business objectives.
• Oversee project budgets, scopes, and timelines; ensure profitability and client compliance.
• Lead the development and refinement of operational processes, tools, and systems for cross-functional collaboration and project transparency.
• Represent the PM discipline in executive forums and contribute to planning and growth initiatives.
