Job summary

The Medicus Firm, part of M3USA, is seeking a Vice President of Business Development, Physician Search to lead sales strategy and team performance in the Business Development department. This role combines hands-on leadership with strategic ownership of revenue growth and client relationships.

Responsibilities include driving new business development, managing pricing and contracts, achieving quarterly targets, and shaping growth initiatives while traveling up to 25% to engage with healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or equivalent a plus.
• 4+ years of sales experience and 3+ years of sales leadership.
• Experience in healthcare recruitment or physician recruitment preferred.
• Proven track record of meeting sales, revenue, and quota targets.
• Ability to mentor and develop sales staff and manage executive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales strategy and process to ensure the highest standard of client service across the team.
• Lead new business development through lead generation, prospect qualification, and relationship-building.
• Grow existing accounts through strategic account planning and proactive issue resolution.
• Own team KPIs and performance metrics with quarterly targets and goals.
• Manage pricing, quotes, proposals, and contract negotiations to hit sales targets.
• Deliver on personal and team revenue goals and year-over-year growth.
• Shape and pitch ideas to fuel department and company growth.
• Oversee client-facing presentations and maintenance of revenue processes.
