Job summary

The Medicus Firm, an M3USA company, seeks a Vice President of Business Development, Physician Search, to lead sales strategy, mentor a healthcare sales team, and grow client relationships nationwide. This role involves coaching, account management, and strategic ownership of revenue targets with up to 25% travel.

You will drive new business, lead key client engagements, and shape pricing and proposals while ensuring exceptional client service across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or equivalent a plus.
• 4+ years of sales experience.
• 3+ years of sales management experience.
• Experience in healthcare recruitment preferred.
• Proven ability to mentor staff and achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales strategy and process to ensure top client service across the team.
• Lead new business development through lead generation and relationship-building.
• Grow existing accounts via strategic account planning and proactive issue resolution.
• Own KPIs and quarterly goals; manage pricing, quotes, and contracts.
• Deliver on team revenue targets and year-over-year growth; shape new ideas to fuel growth.
• Oversee client-facing presentations and maintain sales processes for revenue and partnerships.
