Huntress is seeking an executive leader for Threat Detection & Response (TD&R) to drive strategy and direction for a critical business unit. You'll work with diverse teams across the organization to shape our cybersecurity practices, ensuring effective responses to emerging threats while managing a fully remote structure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading modern security operations.
• 5+ years of experience leading through other managers and directors.
• Proven success in executing a strategic plan for a major security function.
• Strong business judgment connecting security metrics to business outcomes.
• Ability to build leadership depth and communicate technical risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the TD&R function across sub-departments with ownership of outcomes.
• Design long-term TD&R systems while empowering management.
• Execute a credible SOC roadmap with internal teams.
• Drive measurable detection and response outcomes.
• Lead major change management and build analyst trust.
• Identify and solve operational bottlenecks.
