Fluency is seeking a VP of Engineering to shape the long-term technical vision, organizational health, and scalable architecture for the Fluency platform. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on governance to support massive customer growth while reducing technical debt.

You will partner with the CTO and C-Suite, design an agile, remote-friendly org (squad model), and drive platform resilience, data pipelines, and high-concurrency systems in a global Ad-Tech environment.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of progressive experience in engineering leadership.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience specifically within the advertising industry (Ad-Tech, Mar-Tech, or high-volume digital media platforms).
• Proven track record scaling a SaaS platform through revenue and customer growth.
• Experience managing multiple managers or directors in a squad-based or departmental structure.
• Deep familiarity with AI-powered development tools and their impact on engineering productivity.

Aufgaben

• Define the long-term engineering roadmap with the CTO and ensure alignment with company strategy and platform stability.
• Continuously refine and oversee the engineering org structure to empower leads and avoid bottlenecks.
• Maintain and evolve platform resilience for high-concurrency, low-latency ad-tech scale with hundreds of enterprise customers.
• Define and enforce standards separating experimental Labs from stable core engineering to safeguard platform integrity.
• Lead a remote, distributed engineering culture across time zones with accountability and excellence.
• Develop and manage long-term talent strategy, including hiring, dev pipelines, and succession planning.
