Job summary

Fluency in the United States (remote) seeks a VP of Engineering to set the long-term technical vision, ensure platform reliability, and scale our ad-tech platform for hundreds of enterprise customers. This role partners with the CTO and C-Suite to align on strategy, builds a high-performance, remote-first engineering culture, and leads talent development while balancing innovation with stability.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in engineering leadership.
5+ years of engineering leadership experience specifically within the advertising industry (Ad-Tech, Mar-Tech, or high-volume digital media platforms).
Proven track record of scaling a SaaS platform through significant revenue and customer growth.
Experience managing multiple managers or directors in a squad-based or departmental structure.
Deep familiarity with AI-powered development tools and their impact on engineering productivity.

Responsibilities

Define the long-term engineering roadmap with the CTO and C-Suite.
Refine and oversee the engineering organizational structure to empower leads.
Platform resilience and scale: evolve architecture for high-concurrency ad-tech systems.
Define and enforce a framework separating experimental R&D from stable core engineering.
Lead a remote, high-performance engineering culture across time zones.
Develop and manage long-term talent strategy including hiring and professional development.
