Job summary

Wolfram Chemical and Manufacturing Corporation seeks a senior project development leader for a large-scale energy project in the United States. You will run early-stage development, guide EPC engagement, and stress-test CAPEX and execution risks in a founder-led environment.

Remote (US) with Central Time preferred; future on-site or hybrid work in Texas as the project progresses. Base salary around $250,000 with equity about 1% and a 4-year vesting schedule.

Company

Wolfram Chemical and Manufacturing Corporation is developing a large-scale greenfield refining project configured for American light sweet crude from the Permian Basin. The concept is a ~500,000 barrel-per-day facility with a phased, fuels-first design (gasoline, jet, diesel) and the option for later petrochemical expansion.

The project is currently at FEL-1. We are raising seed capital to build a small core team of experienced operators and technical support, harden the development package, and prepare for broader engagement with EPCs and project stakeholders.

We are founder-led and focused on practical development: clear configuration, disciplined economics, and attracting people who have delivered energy projects at scale.

About the role

We are looking for someone who has helped run or lead large oil & gas, refining, or petrochemical project development or execution and can operate in an early-stage sponsor environment.

Compensation

Base salary contingent on close of seed financing (target on the order of $250k for the right profile). Equity: approximately 1% of the Class B / employee pool, 4-year vest with a 1-year cliff.
