Wolfram Chemical and Manufacturing Corporation seeks an experienced energy commercial professional to guide a greenfield refining project targeting Permian light sweet crude. You will help shape the crude-buying strategy and product slate, with emphasis on bankable structures and market dynamics.
The role involves mapping supply options, developing early product placements (RBOB, jet, diesel), and engaging producers, marketers, and offtake contacts.

Wolfram Chemical and Manufacturing Corporation is developing a large-scale greenfield refining project configured for American light sweet crude from the Permian Basin. The concept is a ~500,000 barrel-per-day facility with a phased, fuels-first design (gasoline, jet, diesel) and the option for later petrochemical expansion.
The project is currently at FEL-1. We are raising seed capital to build a small core team of experienced operators and technical support, harden the development package, and prepare for broader engagement with EPCs and project stakeholders.
We are founder-led and focused on practical development: clear configuration, disciplined economics, and attracting people who have delivered energy projects at scale.
We need someone who understands how crude is bought and sold and how refined products move: relationships, structures, and what makes a product slate bankable.
Base salary contingent on close of seed financing (target on the order of $250k for the right profile). Equity: approximately 1% of the Class B / employee pool, 4-year vest with a 1-year cliff.
Remote (US), Central Time preferred. Future on-site (Texas) or hybrid work is possible as the project advances.
