CrowdStrike is seeking an AI-forward Vice President of IP Strategy to lead global IP strategy for its cloud-native cybersecurity platform.

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will lead the IP function and partner with executive and technical leadership to identify mission-critical innovations, strengthen the global IP portfolio, drive licensing discussions, and modernize IP operations with responsible AI.

Formación

• Experience leading global IP strategy for technology platforms and products.
• Strong track record in patent portfolio development, licensing, and enforcement.
• Experience managing trademark portfolios and brand protection across jurisdictions.
• Familiarity with AI-driven IP operations and open-source considerations.
• Ability to partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing and outside counsel at scale.

Responsabilidades

• Lead global patent prosecution strategy aligned with business priorities and product roadmap.
• Identify mission-critical innovations in collaboration with Product and Engineering leadership.
• Oversee filing, continuation, abandonments based on business value and jurisdiction priorities.
• Use analytics and market indicators to guide investment and communicate priorities to executives.
• Manage global trademark portfolio, including protection, renewals, and opposition handling.
• Coordinate trademark clearances for product names, features, campaigns with Marketing and outside counsel.
• Advise on copyright ownership and policy development for software and content assets.
• Provide strategic guidance on trade secret protection and open-source usage.
• Support IP licensing, negotiations, and M&A activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide strategic support for IP litigation, enforcement, and dispute resolution.
