Ladders is seeking a VP AI Engineering - Enterprise to join a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. You will shape the enterprise approach to data engineering and generative AI across core business functions, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with regulatory expectations.

The role partners with security, compliance, and functional leaders to deliver measurable business value from AI and data investments. Remote US-based; visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering or enterprise technology experience
• 5+ years in technical leadership
• Strong hands-on understanding of LLMs, agentic AI, RAG, APIs, and workflow automation

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise strategy for data and generative AI engineering
• Oversee the design and operation of enterprise ETL/ELT platforms integrating legacy and modern systems
• Establish governance for feature stores and AI-ready data products
• Set direction for generative AI enablement and secure data consumption
• Own the enterprise Snowflake strategy and its integration with cloud AI services
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to meet security and regulatory requirements
• Establish metrics to ensure data and AI engineering investments deliver business value
