Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a VP-level AI Architect to define and drive a modern AI-first architecture across the organization. You will connect AI applications with scalable infrastructure, translate business priorities into practical designs, and guide cross-team implementation.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software architecture, systems engineering, or AI engineering, including senior technical leadership across multiple products or business units.
• Proven experience designing and delivering production AI systems, including generative or agentic applications.
• Strong foundations in distributed systems, software design, APIs, and performance engineering.
• Experience with model integration, inference serving, retrieval, and evaluation for AI systems at scale.
• Experience establishing shared platforms and engineering standards across independent teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the company-wide AI architecture and roadmap; establish shared interfaces and design patterns.
• Design and build full-stack AI and agentic systems connecting models to runtimes, memory, tools and execution environments.
• Architect production AI systems for performance, resilience, and scale across cloud and edge environments.
• Create a consistent developer experience through reusable components, APIs, and shared tooling.
• Design the AI lifecycle architecture from data ingestion to deployment and feedback; ensure observability and safe rollouts.
• Embed security, governance, and auditability into AI architectures; partner with Security and Legal.
