Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a VP-level AI Architect to define and drive a broad AI-first architecture across the organization. You will connect AI applications with scalable infrastructure, translating business priorities into robust designs, and guiding implementation across teams.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of software architecture, systems engineering, or AI engineering, including senior leadership across multiple products or business units.
• A record of personally designing and delivering production AI systems, including generative or agentic applications and the infrastructure that supports them.
• Strong foundations in distributed systems, software design, APIs, and performance engineering, with the ability to work across application and infrastructure layers.
• Practical experience with model integration, inference serving, retrieval, and evaluation, including the tradeoffs involved in deploying and operating AI systems at scale.
• Experience establishing shared platforms and engineering standards across independent teams. Ability to align senior stakeholders, explain architectural tradeoffs, and mentor engineers through implementation.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the company-wide AI architecture and roadmap, with shared interfaces and design patterns.
• Design and build full-stack AI and agentic systems, connecting models to runtimes, memory, tools and execution environments.
• Architect production AI systems for performance, resilience, and scale across cloud and edge environments.
• Create a consistent developer experience with reusable components, common APIs, and shared tooling.
• Design the AI lifecycle architecture from data ingestion to deployment and operational feedback.
• Embed security, governance, and auditability into AI architectures, in collaboration with Security and Legal.
