Fortitude Reinsurance Company Ltd. (Fortitude Re) seeks a VP, New Transaction Integration to lead the financial integration of new transactions, including entity acquisitions, reinsurance deals, and investment structures.

Reporting to the SVP of New Transactions Finance Integration, you will oversee accounting considerations, financial reporting, audit compliance, and controls across GL systems, collaborating with policy, controls, and IT teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting required.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 10–12 years of accounting/audit or financial project management experience in insurance/reinsurance.
• Strong understanding of ICFR, audit practices, US GAAP, and financial reporting controls.
• Experience with Life & Annuity and reinsurance transactions is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support execution of integration activities across multiple new transaction types under direction of the SVP, New Transactions Finance Integration.
• Manage finance integration project plans, deliverables, and timelines within budget.
• Coordinate with finance, accounting, operations, and technology teams to deliver integrated solutions for new business initiatives.
• Develop and implement an integration playbook to standardize processes across financial systems.
• Identify blockers, risks, and dependencies and escalate to senior leadership for timely resolution.
• Provide regular progress reporting, status updates, and documentation of integration activities.
