Job summary

Fortitude Reinsurance Company Ltd. (Fortitude Re) seeks a VP, New Transaction Integration to lead the financial integration of complex new transactions, including legal entity acquisitions, reinsurance and investment deals.

You will coordinate with accounting policy, controls, audit, and technology teams to ensure US GAAP alignment and strong internal controls. The role demands 10–12 years in accounting or financial project management within insurance or reinsurance, CPA or equivalent, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• CPA or equivalent certification.
• 10–12 years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial project management, within insurance, reinsurance, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of ICFR, audit practices, US GAAP, and financial reporting controls.
• Extensive knowledge of Life and Annuity insurance products and related accounting.
• Experience managing large-scale integration or financial transformation projects.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Agile approach to process improvement and integration.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of integration activities across multiple new transaction types under the direction of the SVP, New Transactions Finance Integration.
• Manage finance integration project plans, deliverables, and timelines to ensure milestones are met within cost and time budgets.
• Coordinate with finance, accounting, operations, and technology teams to deliver integrated solutions for new business initiatives and develop an integration playbook.
• Identify and escalate blockers, risks, and dependencies to senior leadership for timely resolution.
• Provide regular progress reporting, status updates, and documentation of integration activities.
• Oversee ICFR program updates in partnership with Accounting Policy, Financial Controls and Audit.
