Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Vice President of Merchandising to lead the merchandising strategy across a broad portfolio in Retail & Consumer Goods. This remote, leadership role collaborates with the CEO and senior leaders to drive growth and profitability using data-driven insights and AI-enabled tools.

The position emphasizes lean operations, vendor partnerships, pricing discipline, and catalog optimization to improve the company\'s P&L and customer value.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in merchandising, buying, or category management with direct people leadership.
• Track record of hitting revenue and gross margin targets.
• Extensive vendor negotiation experience and managing partnerships.
• Strong product data skills, catalog management, PIM systems.
• Experience using AI tools to boost productivity and analysis.
• Advanced Excel; SQL or BI for data insights.
• Ability to work independently in a lean team and own decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement assortment strategy focused on product selection and pricing.
• Ongoing assortment analysis to align offerings with demand and market gaps.
• Manage SKU performance to optimize catalog breadth and depth.
• Source and negotiate new vendor partnerships.
• Oversee pricing strategy and promotional calendars for profitability.
• Ensure catalog quality and accuracy; improve vendor onboarding.
• Use AI tools to improve efficiency and decision-making.
