Inovalon, Inc. seeks a VP of Commercial Strategy to shape how the Insights business monetizes data assets across healthcare markets. You will lead licensing strategy, align cross-functional teams, and translate data rights and governance into scalable commercial models that accelerate deal velocity and enterprise value.

You will collaborate with Legal, Finance, Product, and Data Governance to build compliant, revenue-generating licensing structures and monitor performance for board-level updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in business, legal, or technical discipline.
• Extensive experience with data licensing structures and monetization strategies.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including Legal, Finance, Sales, Product, and Data Governance.
• Familiarity with HIPAA de-identification standards, data-use agreements, and third-party obligations.
• Proven track record designing pricing frameworks and monetization models for data products.
• Experience with enterprise licensing, data partnerships, or M&A data-related activities.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute commercial strategy for data licensing and derived-data partnerships.
• Coordinate data rights and licensing decisions with Sales, Legal, Finance, Product, Data Science, and Data Governance.
• Design licensing frameworks, playbooks, and guardrails to facilitate negotiations.
• Structure enterprise licensing agreements and data partnerships.
• Ensure licensing terms align with data rights, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with Product, Data Science, and Data Governance to monetize data products.
• Translate regulatory constraints into commercially viable offerings.
