Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Vice President for Commercial, Excess & Surplus and Specialty Casualty claims to lead the nationwide operation responsible for high-severity cases and complex portfolios. Qualifications

• 15+ years within claims (7+ years in Commercial, Excess & Surplus), and 10+ years in management.
• CPCU or state licenses are desirable.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-level Leaders and specialized staff for high-severity claims.
• Develop and execute strategies to meet performance goals in claim handling.
• Strategic leader of Claim Operations across Commercial, E&S, and Specialty lines.
• Partner with the Chief Claims Officer on planning and policy development.
• Drive performance, cost management, and superior servicing across divisions.
