Job summary
Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a visionary Vice President, Biometrics to guide biostatistics, programming, and data management across the Clinical Development portfolio.
You will partner with Development leaders to deliver data-driven strategies and regulatory-ready evidence, while leading a high-performing Biometrics organization. The role reports to the VP, Data & Analytics and requires up to 15% travel; working remotely, you will influence across global teams and drive
Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Biostatistics or similar discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of industry related experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Minimum 10 years of leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and scientific direction to Biometrics with focus on trial design, analysis, and reporting.
- Oversee biostatistics, clinical programming and data management pillars in an integrated way.
- Drive Clinical Development portfolio governance, resource prioritization and budgeting.
- Lead external scientific interactions and health authority engagements.
- Develop digital data strategies for traditional and digital data capture (e.g. mHealth).
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders.
