Job summary

MCI is seeking Call Center Representatives to support Get Out the Vote initiatives in the United States. You will handle outbound and inbound calls, represent the Republican Party, and ensure accurate information delivery. A strong communicator with reliable attendance is essential.

The role requires comfort with scripting, data entry, and using MS Office tools while maintaining privacy and confidentiality. Training will be provided, with flexible shifts within operating hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with data-entry using a computer
• Ability to read and speak English fluently
• Wired, high-speed internet connection (20Mbps+)
• Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
• Type swiftly and accurately (20+ WPM)
• Ability to work regularly scheduled shifts within operation hours
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications and ability to learn new systems
• Reliable with regular attendance and punctuality
• Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues
• Aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving and negotiation
• Customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient)

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound contacts courteously, timely, and professionally
• Listen to customers, understand needs, and resolve issues
• Research systems to find missing information and coordinate with other departments
• Follow client program processes and operate courteously and professionally
• Use systems to complete account management tasks
• Document and process customer claims in appropriate systems
• Follow all scripts, policies, and procedures
• Use knowledge base and training to answer questions accurately
• Protect confidential and personal information
• Escalate issues to managerial staff when needed
• Aim for first-call resolution through effective problem solving
• Attend meetings and training to stay updated on program knowledge and systems
