Job summary

SCA Pacific Case Management in Washington is seeking a Vocational Case Management Assistant/Intern to support return-to-work efforts for workers injured on the job. This role operates under the guidance of a seasoned Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and aims to prepare you for a career as a certified Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in psychology, sociology, or Human Services) and a valid Washington State Driver’s License.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, or Human Services and a valid WA Driver’s License required.
• Ability to engage with workers, employers, and medical providers to facilitate return-to-work.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and managing case documentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare correspondence, reports and case documents.
• Monitor client treatments and follow up on routine calls.
• Schedule appointments and attend face-to-face meetings with claims parties.
• Support the Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and learn casework principles.
• Assist with preparing you for a career as a certified Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor.
