Job summary

Otis SE is seeking a Communications & Visual Storytelling Intern to support internal communications and employee engagement across the U.S. and Canada. You will create visuals, edit short-form videos, interview coworkers, and help develop compelling stories that highlight projects and culture.

The role offers hands-on experience in a global company, with flexible remote work and part-time hours. You will gain mentorship from a communications leader and build a professional portfolio in graphic

Qualifications

Strong graphic design capabilities and demonstrated experience with Canva and/or PowerPoint.
Experience editing short-form video content using tools such as Canva, Adobe Premiere Rush, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Visual Content Creation: design graphics and visual assets for internal campaigns, create infographics, social graphics, presentations and Sharepoint layouts.
Video Editing & Short-Form Content: edit clips and create reels from interviews/events with motion graphics and captions.
Employee Storytelling & Content Development: conduct interviews, draft features, identify story opportunities across topics like innovation and culture.
Communications Support: assist with editorial calendars, content planning, and asset gathering across the organization.
