Carhartt seeks a Visual Merchandising Training Specialist I to train, coordinate and execute merchandising in assigned markets, visiting stores and installing shop displays to deliver an exceptional consumer experience.

You will communicate store information across the organization and build cross-functional relationships; frequent travel is required, and location near Philadelphia, PA is ideal.

Qualifications

• 2 years of visual merchandising, visual design, or marketing experience in a multi-retailer/manufacturer’s environment.
• Softlines / apparel experience preferred.
• Retail plan-o-grams experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels including management and retail partners.
• Outstanding organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload.
• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Visit Carhartt Wholesale accounts with designated selling spaces and provide visual merchandising training to store management and associates.
• Convey store-level information to help develop new processes for the visual merchandising department.
• Identify opportunities to elevate shop presentation and ensure Carhartt standards; provide training to drive revenue.
• Execute Carhartt shop installations.
• Communicate feedback from stores to cross-functional partners and leadership.
• Collaborate with partners to support retail merchandising activities, including store evaluations, floor redesigns, seasonal floor sets, signage, lifestyle elements, and training.
