Job summary

Planet Group seeks a Visual Designer to support the University’s Enrollment Management marketing team. You will ideate and create for diverse student audiences, partnering with creative leaders to deliver print and digital materials that align with the brand.

You’ll collaborate with the Creative Director, Associate Director, and design interns in a fast-paced environment, balancing art direction with brand consistency and multi-project workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 2–5 years of prior visual design experience.
• Strong design acumen and creative concepting.
• Exceptional attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages.
• Keen time management and communications skills; collaborative posture.
• Ability to develop and pitch concepts for broad student audiences (UG, grad, certificates).
• Editorial, art direction, and social media design experience is a plus.
• Additional skills in video, animation, audio are a plus.
• Understanding of usability and user-centric design is a plus.
• Illustration, animation, and photography skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce top-tier marketing materials for print and digital formats across recruitment efforts.
• Create concepts and designs for print and digital projects, ensuring print- or publish-ready quality.
• Provide layouts and comps to marketing managers with clear design rationale.
• Partner with multimedia, marketing, social, and content teams on multiple projects.
• Use Adobe Creative Suite to create concepts for publications (print and digital).
• Handle 15+ projects concurrently under deadline pressure with attention to detail.
• Provide printing and mailing specs to production manager for cost estimates.
• Act as liaison to CAMD and other schools as needed.
• Mentor student designers and advise on intern candidates.
• Uphold client brand identity across enrollment collateral.
