Job summary

Thrivent is seeking a Virtual Financial Advisor to provide purpose-based financial guidance to clients through virtual meetings. You’ll re-engage existing clients, schedule appointments, and build trust while offering a broad portfolio of Thrivent products.

This remote role includes onboarding and training, with pathways to join a local team or build your own practice within 18–24 months, supported by a Fortune 500-backed culture and substantial benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Military veterans are encouraged to apply.
• FINRA Series 7, 63/65 or 66 required or obtained within 90 days.
• State insurance licensed and appointed in life, health and variable lines of authority or obtained within 90 days.
• Eligibility to be securities registered and insurance licensed in all 50 states.
• Satisfactory background check (criminal and financial).

Responsibilities

• Engage clients with confidence and clarity via virtual meetings.
• Guide Christians and others who align with Thrivent’s mission and values to create and maintain financial plans.
• Meet with clients virtually to provide personal, actionable and achievable advice.
• Have access to a large existing client base with the ability to also help your friends, family and natural market.
• Utilize Thrivent Planning Platform, Salesforce, MoneyGuidePro and Morningstar and have modern hardware provided.
