Modern Animal is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our Virtual Care team. You’ll engage with members, triage cases, review records, and support prescriptions with empathy and accuracy.

Requirements include VTNE completion and at least two years of small animal practice. Strong communication and tech proficiency are essential, with a quiet home office and reliable internet as we deliver exceptional care remotely.

Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician required with VTNE completed.
• At least 2 years of experience in small animal veterinary medicine.
• Strong communication and tech skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Engage with members via chat, phone, and video to educate on pet health.
• Triage cases based on veterinary knowledge and provide recommendations.
• Review medical records to understand patient history and guide care.
• Document clearly in patient records using veterinary terminology.
• Verify and process prescriptions with appropriate follow-up.
• Deliver empathetic client care across chat, phone, or video.
• Follow protocols while adapting to each case and environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes.
• Maintain a fast-paced, continuous-learning mindset and uphold values.
