Job summary

STERRY is hiring a Video Editor for a fully remote role. You will craft high-performing video advertisements across platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, handling the full lifecycle from concept through final cut.

We value a 3–5 year track record in video editing, proficiency with Premiere Pro and After Effects, and the ability to translate briefs into engaging narratives while meeting deadlines in a dynamic agency environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Film, Multimedia, Communications, Marketing or related field is a plus.
• 3–5 years of video editing and/or digital advertising experience, especially video ads.
• Proven track record creating high-performing video ads for online platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
• Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X) and motion graphics (Adobe After Effects).
• Strong understanding of digital advertising metrics and analytics.
• Creative problem-solving and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble footage to create compelling video ads for online platforms.
• Take briefs, plan concepts, and align with production and post-production teams.
• Review scripts and raw footage to plan shot decisions and sequencing.
• Trim footage and assemble sequences, add music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.
• Ensure brand consistency and narrative alignment across deliverables.
• Maintain high quality control and deliver on tight timelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maximize ad performance and efficiency.
