Job summary

STERRY is seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our remote team and craft high-performing video ads for online platforms. You will manage the full lifecycle from planning to editing and optimization, collaborating with clients and production teams to ensure brand and narrative alignment.

Bring 3–5 years of experience, proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects, and a strong portfolio. This fully remote role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to impact campaigns across global markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in film, multimedia, communications, marketing or related field is a plus.
• Strong portfolio or hands-on experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Manipulate and edit film pieces invisibly to the audience.
• Take a brief to grasp production team's needs and specs.
• Review shooting script and raw material to create shot lists based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity.
• Trim footage and assemble the sequence of the film.
• Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects to elevate production value.
• Create rough and final cuts while maintaining high quality control.
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running across all deliverables.
• Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production to ensure brand alignment.
• Continuously adopt new editing technologies and best practices to maximize efficiency.
• Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by management.
