Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC is seeking a Vibration Specialist/Balance Engineer to join the Outage Services Division. You will diagnose machinery conditions, perform balancing, and advise on corrective actions for turbine and turbomachinery assets.

Travel up to 80% and work under demanding conditions, delivering clear reports and enhancing reliability through rotordynamics and vibration analysis. This role emphasizes client-facing service and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or technology.
• Minimum 5 years of machinery diagnostics field experience.
• Experience with vibration and rotordynamic analysis, testing, balancing, and large turbine generators.
• Ability to travel up to 80% and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose machinery problems based on vibration and test data.
• Perform troubleshooting and balancing of rotating equipment assets.
• Convey knowledge of turbine operation and auxiliary systems.
• Provide leadership and technical direction to field personnel.
• Prepare service reports, invoicing packages, and maintain documentation.
• Travel as required and ensure safety policies are followed.
