Cordant from Baker Hughes is seeking a Rotating Equipment Engineer to deliver service solutions for critical rotating machinery, focusing on protection and monitoring systems and rotor dynamics analysis. You will diagnose issues based on vibration and operation data and travel to customer sites for on-site support.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, 2+ years experience, willingness to travel up to 70%, and the ability to obtain a TWIC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of industry experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% and work overtime (paid).
• Valid driver's license and passport (or ability to obtain).
• TWIC eligibility required; offshore travel possible.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose machinery problems based on vibration data, operational data, and customer communications.
• Travel to customer sites to provide supporting service.
• Complete timely reports with findings and recommendations.
• Build relationships with customers to be their trusted advisor for rotating equipment health.
• Calculate and oversee placement of balance weights and ensure HS&E standards.
