Job summary

American Veterinary Group is seeking a Team Staffing Specialist to source and interview practice manager and support staff for newly constructed UrgentVet locations nationwide. The role is remote and reports to the Director of Team Staffing, with an emphasis on rapid hiring timelines and strong communication.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years as a veterinary technician, preferably with LVT/RVT/CVT credentials, plus project management and remote collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a veterinary technician.
• Applicants who are a Licensed/Registered/Credentialed Technicians (LVT/RVT/CVT) preferred.
• Ability to proactively manage deadlines and deliver results with quick turnaround times.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership of role and responsibilities.
• Strong written communication and attention to grammar and spelling.
• Ability to work in ambiguous environments and adapt quickly.
• Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify practice manager and staff talent via resume databases, directories, and websites.
• Build a pipeline of candidates through targeted email campaigns to passive candidates and applicants.
• Conduct virtual screens to assess skills, position fit, and availability.
• Maintain and grow the candidate database/CRM (Lever).
• Provide market intelligence on recruiting trends to the team.
• Collaborate to improve workflow efficiency and lead conversion.
