Job summary

National University is seeking a VR&E Processing Assistant to support the School Student Business Services-Military team. You will help process Chapter 31 and Military Tuition Assistance, maintain records, and ensure compliance with regulations. The role involves attending webinars and on-campus trainings related to VA Education Benefits.

The position emphasizes accurate documentation, customer-relations experience, and ability to navigate VA.gov resources in a hybrid, remote work environment.

Qualifications

• Current NU student receiving Veterans Education Benefits under Title 38, U.S.C., Chapters 30, 31, 32, 33, 35, 1606, and Edith N. Rogers STEM Scholarship.
• Enrolled in and pursuing an approved program of education at a rate of 3/4 time or greater during the work study semester.
• Maintain good academic standing according to NU’s Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Policy.
• Ability to meet National University’s employee performance and campus dress code standards.
• Experience in customer services and customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Fields Veterans Readiness & Employment inquiries by phone, and virtually.
• Assists with reporting student enrollments to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Processes VA correspondence and supports other administrative tasks related to the administration of Veterans Readiness & Employment.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support the effective delivery of Veterans Readiness & Employment benefits.
