Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist, Vessel Closure to support the Vascular division in the United States. This field-based role focuses on case planning, coverage, and pull-through across the territory, promoting vascular products through education and service in hospital settings.

You will work with interventional labs and cardiology teams to deliver clinical education, build hospital relationships, and help achieve sales goals while traveling up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-5+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to travel 50% within assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical procedure and product expert for case coverage in hospital settings.
• Support Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists and hospital staff for Vessel Closure portfolio.
• Meet with physicians and hospital staff to identify clinical needs and demonstrate products.
• Develop relationships with hospital personnel and key decision makers.
• Provide clinical education and sales support to help meet sales goals.
• Attend procedures to ensure customer and patient success with vascular products.
• Respond to customer needs and complaints with feasible solutions.
• Support broader region with case support as needed.
