Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist, Vessel Closure for a field-based role in the United States. You will serve as the clinical expert for case coverage, specializing in Vessel Closure therapies and supporting Electrophysiologists and Interventional Cardiologists in hospital settings.

You will educate customers with presentations and live demonstrations, attend procedures in Cath Lab and OR, and work with sales, clinical research, marketing, and product development to expand market share and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2-5+ years of related work experience.
Ability to travel 50% within assigned region.

Responsibilities

Serves as the technical procedure and product expert in support of case coverage in the hospital setting.
Focuses on Electrophysiologists and Interventional Cardiologists and hospital staff to support the Vessel Closure portfolio.
Meet with existing and potential customers to identify clinical needs and demonstrate how Vascular products help achieve goals.
Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products with presentations and demonstrations.
Attend clinical procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab, and Operating Room to ensure patient success.
Provide case coverage support and troubleshoot with cross-functional teams to develop optimal solutions.
