General Motors is seeking a software engineer, automation-focused, to create software for basic and vehicle-level functions and perform integration and verification testing in line with GM Software Engineering standards. You will design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and harnesses for unit, integration, regression and system-level testing of vehicle test automation software.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years of software/automation experience.
• Experience with Python, Java, or C++, including OO analysis, design and debugging.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD (Jenkins).
• Experience integrating software across multiple systems and troubleshooting.

Responsabilidades

• Create software for basic and vehicle-level functions and perform integration and verification testing.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and test harnesses for unit, integration, regression, and system testing.
• Diagnose, debug, and resolve issues in vehicle hardware/software and test benches.
• Analyze code, requirements, and system risks under guidance of senior engineers.
